Decoration options
What one set includes
Each set is one jersey and one pair of pants for one player. It starts at $55.99 per set when you order 10 sets.
Names, numbers, the team logo and sponsor marks are already in that price. There are no setup, art or per-color fees, so a three-color design costs the same as a one-color design.
The set price is the same for YS and 3XL. Bigger players do not cost more, which keeps a club's budget simple when it collects money from families.
| Piece | Spec | Your options |
|---|---|---|
| Jersey | 160 gsm polyester interlock, sublimated, name and number included | Full-button, two-button, V-neck or sleeveless |
| Pants | 220 gsm polyester double-knit with a double knee | White, grey or any team color; full-length, open-bottom or knicker; printed stripe or piping |
| Not in the set | Socks and belts | Added per player as separate line items |
Start with the jersey cut
The jersey cut sets the tone for the whole uniform. A full-button front reads traditional and suits high school and adult teams.
A two-button or V-neck pullover has no long placket to gap or pop open. Younger players manage it better, and it goes on fast in a crowded dugout.
Full-button jerseys still win on picture day. They also let a catcher open the front between innings on a hot afternoon.
Sleeveless jerseys are worn over a long-sleeve undershirt in a team color. That gives the uniform a sleeve color without printing one.
If you are torn, our comparison of button-up, two-button and V-neck cuts walks through fit and wear. All four cuts cost the same inside a set.
How the pants match the jersey
The pant stripe is printed from the same artwork file as the jersey trim. That makes the colors identical, not close.
A navy pinstripe jersey gets a navy pinstripe pant with the same stripe width and spacing. A two-tone raglan gets a pant with the sleeve color running down the side seam.
Buying sewn tape for pants from another supplier rarely lines up. Royal from one mill and royal from another can look like two different blues under stadium lights.
The custom baseball pants page covers the waist, pockets and knee panel in detail. Your proof shows the full uniform on a figure so you can judge the whole look at once.
Choosing a pant length by age group
All three lengths cost the same. The right one depends mostly on age and on how your league dresses.
Think about growth too. Knickers forgive a growth spurt better than full-length pants, because nobody notices an inch less of sock.
Some local leagues set rules on pant color or how much sock must show. Our notes on Little League uniform rules list the common ones to check before you order.
- Knickers: the usual pick for 8U to 12U. They end below the knee, show the sock and stay clear of the dirt.
- Full-length: common for 13U to 18U travel ball and adult leagues. Hemmed to sit at the top of the shoe.
- Open-bottom: unhemmed and worn over the cleat. Varsity and older club teams like the clean line.
- Mixed: a club can order knickers for its younger teams and full-length for its older ones in the same cart.
Price per player by order size
Discounts are based on the total pieces in the cart. Every set counts, and so do extra jerseys, socks or hoodies added to the same order.
Buying for several age groups at once usually lands a club in a better tier. Our guide to ordering team uniforms in bulk shows how programs collect sizes from many coaches in one pass.
| Sets in the order | Discount | Price per set |
|---|---|---|
| 10–11 | Base price | $55.99 |
| 12–23 | 5% off | $53.19 |
| 24–47 | 10% off | $50.39 |
| 48–99 | 15% off | $47.59 |
| 100+ | 20% off | $44.79 |
Sizing a mixed youth and adult roster
Youth sets run YS to YXL. Adult sets run S to 3XL. Both sit happily in the same order.
A player's jersey and pant sizes do not have to match. Plenty of 13U and 14U players wear an adult small jersey with a youth XL pant.
Put the jersey size in the size grid and list pant sizes in the order notes. You can also confirm both on the proof.
Collect sizes before the proof, not after. Changing a size on the proof is free and quick. Changing it after production starts is a much bigger problem.
Measure chest for the jersey and waist for the pants with the baseball uniform size chart. When a player sits between sizes, size up on the jersey and stay true on the pants, since the waist has elastic and a drawstring.
How a uniform order runs
Most teams sketch their look on Design Your Jerseys first and then send the roster. Here is what happens after that.
Plan backward from your first game. Allow about four weeks from your first message to a box at the field, and a week more if you choose twill.
- Send the design, colors and roster with names, numbers, jersey sizes and pant sizes.
- We email a proof within 1–2 business days showing the jersey and pants together.
- Ask for changes as many times as you need. Revisions are unlimited.
- Approve the proof and we email a PayPal invoice. We accept PayPal.
- Production takes 2–3 weeks after the invoice is paid, or 3–4 weeks with twill lettering.
- Free US ground shipping follows: 2–5 business days, or 2–4 inside California.
Add-ons players usually need
Socks and belts are not part of the set, so add them per player. A pair of knitted team baseball socks can carry hoops in the same colors as the pant stripe.
- Second jersey: an alternate color at the single-jersey price, built from the same design file.
- Tackle twill numbers: an upgrade quoted on the proof. It adds about a week to production.
- Team socks: $9.99 a pair at the base tier, knitted in up to four colors.
- Belts in team colors: added as a line item, one per player.
Home and road sets from one design
Many programs want a light home uniform and a dark road uniform. The easiest way is one design printed twice with the colors flipped.
White jersey with navy trim at home, navy jersey with white trim on the road. The pants can stay grey for both, so each player needs one pair, not two.
Order the road jersey as a second jersey on each set rather than as a second full set. You pay the single-jersey price for it, and the pieces still count toward your tier.
Keep numbers the same on both jerseys. Scorekeepers and umpires work from one roster, and a player who forgets one jersey can still play in the other.
Mistakes we see on first uniform orders
Most problems on a first order come from the roster sheet, not the design. Travel programs feel this most because rosters change between tournaments, which is why our travel ball uniforms page suggests a spare set or two.
- Ordering pants by jersey size. A player who needs a large jersey may need a medium pant.
- Leaving pant length out of the notes. The proof will ask, and the clock waits for your answer.
- Duplicate numbers on the roster. A proof shows exactly what you send, so check it line by line.
- White pants for a wet spring league. Grey or a team color hides infield dirt far better.
- Ordering exactly one set per player. A late pickup then means a second small order.
Washing and storing the sets
Wash jerseys and pants inside out in cold water and hang them to dry. The color sits inside the fiber, so it will not crack or peel.
High dryer heat is still hard on elastic waistbands over a long season. Pretreat infield dirt on white or grey pants before the wash, not after.
Store sets on hangers between seasons rather than folded tight in a bag. Our baseball jersey fabric guide explains each fabric weight we use and how it wears.
Custom Baseball Uniforms (Jersey + Pants Set): questions answered
How much is a complete baseball uniform?
From $55.99 per player at 10 sets, covering the jersey with name and number plus the pants. It drops to $53.19 at 12 sets and $44.79 at 100.
Can jersey and pant sizes differ for the same player?
Yes. Enter the jersey size in the grid and list pant sizes in the notes, or confirm them on the proof.
Which pant length should we order?
Knickers for most youth teams and a traditional look. Full-length or open-bottom for high school and adult teams. All three cost the same.
Are the pants available in colors other than white and grey?
Yes. Any team color, sublimated, at the same price.
Do the pants have belt loops?
Yes, seven of them, plus an elastic waist with an internal drawstring.
Is a second jersey cheaper when ordered with the set?
The second jersey is charged at the single-jersey price. The extra pieces also count toward your discount tier, which can lower the price of every set.
Can we upgrade to tackle twill numbers?
Yes. It is quoted on the proof, and twill orders take 3–4 weeks in production instead of 2–3.
Are socks and belts included?
No. Add them per player. Knitted team socks start at $9.99 a pair, and belts are added as line items.
Can we see a sample uniform first?
On orders of 24 sets or more, we can sew one sample at the single-piece price. That amount is credited to the full order.
