Who orders men's jerseys from this page
This page is for grown men who play hardball on weekends and weeknights.
Sunday rec leagues, wood-bat leagues, over-30 and over-40 divisions and company teams send most of these orders. Many have played together for years in mismatched tees and finally want a real uniform.
Most rosters run 12 to 16 players. One set of jerseys lands in the 5% tier, and home plus away usually reaches the 10% tier.
League boards and sponsor deals add their own steps. Our page on jerseys for adult rec and wood-bat leagues covers that side. This page focuses on the cut, sizing and look.
A typical order is 14 full-button jerseys with a sponsor on the back. Most add one or two spares for players who join in June.
Some teams want a classic look that matches the old photos on the clubhouse wall. Others want a bold two-tone raglan that nobody else in the league wears. Both cost the same.
The adult athletic cut
The block is athletic, not slim. There is room through the chest and upper back, so a full swing does not pull the front open.
The tail runs longer than a casual shirt. It stays tucked through a head-first slide and a stretch at first base.
Undershirts matter more than most managers expect. A long-sleeve compression layer adds bulk at the shoulder and upper arm.
Anyone who wears one every game should try the next size up. Long-torso players can do the same to gain an inch of length.
The proof shows the jersey on this adult block, so you see the real proportions before anything is printed.
- Shoulders shaped for a throwing motion, not a dress shirt
- Sleeves that stay put when you reach for a high throw
- Straight side seams with no taper at the waist
- A longer tail that stays inside the belt all game
Adult sizing, S through 4XL
Measure around the fullest part of the chest with arms relaxed. Pick the size whose range covers that number.
Each size up adds about 3 inches of chest and 1 inch of length. Players between sizes should go up, since polyester interlock does not shrink.
2XL, 3XL and 4XL cost the same as S through XL. 4XL is offered on this page and on the adult league page.
Send your players the size guide with measuring tips and ask each one for a chest number, not a guess.
If a player will not measure, use a jersey he already likes. Lay it flat, measure armpit to armpit, and double the number.
Collect sizes before the proof goes out. Changing a size on the proof is free, and changing it after approval is not possible.
| Size | Chest | Body length |
|---|---|---|
| S | 36–38 in | 28 in |
| M | 39–41 in | 29 in |
| L | 42–44 in | 30 in |
| XL | 45–47 in | 31 in |

Picking the front
Every front is the same price on this page. The choice comes down to look and comfort.
Bigger players often prefer full-button because it opens all the way over a compression shirt.
Our comparison of button-up, two-button and V-neck fronts shows each one side by side.
Collar choice matters on full-button jerseys. A fold-down collar reads traditional and suits script lettering across the chest.
A round neck sits flatter and feels cooler on a hot afternoon. Catchers often prefer it under their gear.
| Cut | Who usually picks it | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| Full-button | Wood-bat, over-30 and traditional clubs | Fold-down collar or round neck, looks right with pinstripes |
| Two-button | Rec and company teams | Pulls over the head, fewer buttons to catch on a slide |
| V-neck | Teams that want a lighter, simpler feel | No placket, so the chest logo can run larger |
| Sleeveless | Summer and evening leagues | Worn over a long-sleeve or short-sleeve undershirt |
What men's leagues order most
Home and away is the most common upgrade. A 13-man roster with two jerseys each comes to 26 pieces at $29.69 apiece.
Pinstripes stay the top pick for wood-bat clubs. Browse our pinstripe baseball jersey options for stripe and color ideas.
Raglan sleeves in a second color are the other favorite. They make a roster of very different body shapes look like one team.
Script team names across the chest suit full-button fronts. Block lettering fits two-button and V-neck fronts better, because there is no placket to split the word.
- Full-button front with a fold-down collar, numbers front and back
- Pinstripes or a solid body with contrast piping
- A sponsor's name across the back above the number, since most adult teams have a bar or business behind them
- Two jerseys per player, home and away, which usually lands the team in the 24+ discount tier
Fabric for doubleheaders
The standard jersey is 160 gsm polyester interlock. It hangs straight, hides an undershirt and dries quickly between games.
Color is dye-sublimated into the fiber. Names, numbers and sponsor logos cannot crack or peel, even after a season of hot dryers.
For August doubleheaders in the Central Valley, ask about 140 gsm lighter interlock or 130 gsm micro-mesh. Both breathe noticeably better.
The baseball jersey fabric guide compares weight, stretch and heat for each option.
Interlock has a smooth face that holds fine detail. Thin pinstripes, small sponsor text and outlined numbers print sharp on it.
Mesh has tiny open holes. Keep sponsor text bold and simple if you pick a mesh body.
Men's jersey pricing by quantity
The tier counts every piece in the cart. Jerseys, pants and socks all add up together.
Names, numbers, the team logo and sponsor marks are in that price. There are no setup, art or per-color fees.
A manager running two teams can put both in one order. Two 12-man rosters reach the 24-piece tier together.
Here is a common example. A 15-man roster ordering home jerseys, away jerseys and pants is 45 pieces, so every item gets 10% off.
That works out to $29.69 per jersey and $34.19 per pair of pants, with free shipping to your door.
| Pieces in cart | Discount | Per jersey |
|---|---|---|
| 10–11 | Base price | $32.99 |
| 12–23 | 5% | $31.34 |
| 24–47 | 10% | $29.69 |
| 48–99 | 15% | $28.04 |
| 100+ | 20% | $26.39 |
How a men's team order runs
Most managers get from first idea to approved proof inside a week. Start in Design Your Jerseys to try colors before you poll the team.
The proof shows front, back and both sleeves. Check the spelling of every last name there, because a typo found on game day means a reorder.
- Pick a front, colors and a stripe or raglan layout.
- Add your logo and any sponsor art. A phone photo of an old jersey works.
- Enter rough size counts. You can correct them on the proof.
- Get an emailed proof in 1–2 business days and ask for as many changes as you need.
- Reply with names, numbers and final sizes in any format.
- Approve the proof and pay the PayPal invoice. We accept PayPal.
- Production takes 2–3 weeks. Free ground shipping takes 2–5 business days, or 2–4 inside California.
Add pants or keep your own
Many adult teams already own grey pants and only replace jerseys. That works if the grey is a true neutral and nobody's pair has faded to cream.
If you want a matched set, custom baseball pants in adult sizes ship with the jerseys at the same discount tier.
The pants are 220 gsm double-knit with a double knee. Piping can be printed to match your jersey trim exactly.
Grey pants from different shops rarely match each other. If half the team bought pants years ago and half bought them last spring, a new set fixes that in one order.
Mistakes we see on men's orders
Each of these is free to fix on the proof. After production, every one of them costs a reorder.
- Ordering the size a player wore in high school. Ask for a chest measurement instead.
- Setting the sponsor name and last name at the same size on the back. Make one clearly smaller.
- Choosing two dark colors for home and away. Umpires need to tell teams apart at a glance.
- Skipping spares. One or two extra jerseys with numbers only cover a mid-season pickup.
- Washing hot with towels. Wash cold, inside out, and hang dry.
- Putting numbers in a color too close to the body. Numbers need strong contrast to read from the stands.
- Forgetting the manager. A coach who wears the uniform needs a jersey in the count too.
Getting a written price
Some teams split the bill with a sponsor who wants a number in writing first.
Ask for a written team quote and you get per-piece pricing, the tier, free shipping and the timeline on one page.
Call or WhatsApp (213) 449-3746, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Pacific, if you would rather talk it through.
The quote is free. Prices on it match the tiers above, and no setup or art fees appear later.
Email info@californiabaseballjerseys.com with your roster count and a rough idea of colors. That is enough for us to price it.
Men's Baseball Jerseys: questions answered
How much are men's custom jerseys?
From $32.99 per jersey at 10 pieces with names, numbers and logo included. At 12 pieces the price drops to $31.34.
Do 2XL, 3XL and 4XL cost more?
No. Every size from S to 4XL is the same price.
Can we put a sponsor on the jersey?
Yes. Sponsor names and logos are sublimated at no extra charge, on the back, a sleeve or the chest.
What fit should bigger players choose?
The cut is athletic but not slim. Players who want a looser fit or wear a bulky undershirt should go one size up.
Can we order home and away sets?
Yes. Both designs count toward one discount tier, so 12 players with two jerseys each is 24 pieces at $29.69 apiece.
Is a full-button collar jersey available?
Yes, with a fold-down collar or a round neck.
What is the smallest order you take for a men's team?
10 pieces, in any mix of sizes and styles.
How do we send the roster?
Reply to the proof email with names, numbers and sizes in any format, even a photo of a handwritten list.
How long until the jerseys arrive?
Proof in 1–2 business days, then 2–3 weeks of production after the invoice is paid. Free shipping takes 2–5 business days.
How does a men's team pay?
We email a PayPal invoice after you approve the proof. We accept PayPal.
Can we see a real jersey before ordering 24 or more?
Yes. For orders of 24+, we sew one sample at the single-piece price and credit it to the order.
Will the numbers fade after a season of washing?
