How to choose the right page for your program

Start with two questions. How old are the players, and do you need pants as well as jerseys?

A rec coach with ten 9-year-olds and their own pants needs youth jerseys cut on a kids' pattern. A high school program replacing everything needs a full set. The table lists every option in this category.

Jerseys only or a full uniform set

A set is one jersey and one pair of pants per player, priced together. It gives parents one number to pay and makes sure the pant stripe matches the jersey trim.

Buy jerseys only when the players already own decent grey or white pants. Buy sets when the pants are worn through, mismatched or coming from a dozen different stores.

For younger teams, youth uniform sets with matching pants are the usual choice. Kids slide, kneel and grow, and last year's pants rarely survive.

  • Jersey only: from $32.99, best when pants are already uniform
  • Set: from $55.99 per player, jersey plus 220 gsm double-knit pants
  • Add-ons: second jersey, knitted team socks, practice shirts

Little League and local rec leagues

Little League orders are usually placed by a volunteer board for several teams at once. The work is in keeping six or eight teams consistent.

Our Little League jersey and pants sets use one design in a different color for each team. We send a league proof sheet with every team side by side, so the board approves once.

Back numbers are 6 inches or taller in a contrasting color. Sponsors go above the number or on a sleeve, and we keep the sponsor list on file for next spring.

Boxes arrive sorted by team. That saves a long evening in somebody's garage before opening day.

Most leagues pick a two-button or V-neck pullover for this age. Small players can get them on quickly, and parents do not lose buttons in the wash.

Travel ball and club programs

Travel teams play a lot of games and get photographed at every tournament. They also tend to want more than one look.

The travel ball uniform set covers the base kit. Most programs add a second jersey per player for away games, and some add a sleeveless or camo third jersey for hot bracket days.

Rosters often mix youth and adult sizes. A 13U team can have a YL catcher and an adult M shortstop, and both go in the same order.

Every design shares one proof, one PayPal invoice and one discount tier. Adding the away jersey usually pushes the cart up a tier.

High school varsity and JV

School programs need uniforms that look right on a varsity schedule. They also need paperwork that works for the athletic office.

The high school full-button uniform set comes with school colors matched from a Pantone number or a photo. Numbers are sized to your section's rules.

We send a written quote with per-item prices that the athletic director can attach to a purchase order.

Varsity and JV can share one design with a different trim color, so the two squads are easy to tell apart. Many programs give varsity sewn twill numbers and keep JV printed.

Men's and adult league teams

Adult teams are usually run by one person collecting money from a dozen friends. The order has to be simple.

On the adult league jersey page the sponsor's name across the back is included. Sizes run to 4XL at no extra charge, and home and away go in one cart.

Wood-bat and over-30 teams lean toward full-button pinstripes. Rec and company teams usually pick a two-button pullover with a bold chest logo.

Order a couple of spare jerseys with numbers only. Mid-season pickups happen in every adult league.

Many adult teams already own grey pants and only replace jerseys. If yours want a matched look, pants in adult sizes ship in the same box at the same tier.

Women's teams, co-ed teams and booster clubs

Women's game jerseys are cut on a women's block. The shoulder is narrower and the side seam is shaped. The body is about 2 inches shorter than the men's cut at the same chest.

The same women's jerseys and 3/4 raglan shirts page also covers the shirt that booster clubs and team parents order for the stands.

Co-ed teams can mix men's and women's cuts in one order with one design. Fan shirts count toward the same discount tier as the players' jerseys.

The 3/4 raglan has a white or heather body with contrast sleeves and the team name across the chest. Each shirt can carry a different player number or a parent's line of text at the same price.

A booster order placed with the team's jerseys often lifts the whole cart into a better tier. Collect fan sizes on the same spreadsheet as the roster so nothing gets missed.

How a team order works

The steps are the same for a 10-player adult team and a 120-player league. Bigger orders just have more rows on the roster sheet.

Ordering for several teams? Our guide to ordering team uniforms in bulk covers roster sheets and sorting in more detail.

  1. Choose the page that matches your program and add at least 10 pieces to the cart.
  2. Collect sizes, names and numbers in one spreadsheet, one row per player.
  3. Send your logo, colors and sponsor marks. A phone photo is fine to start.
  4. Get a proof by email within 1 to 2 business days, with every team or color shown.
  5. Ask for changes as often as you need. Revisions are unlimited.
  6. Approve the proof and pay the PayPal invoice we email you.
  7. Production takes 2 to 3 weeks after payment, about 4 weeks for 200 or more pieces.
  8. Free US ground shipping arrives in 2 to 5 business days, 2 to 4 inside California.

What is included in every team order

Team pricing has no setup, art or per-color fees. The number in the cart is what the roster costs.

If you need a written price before you collect money from parents, ask for a written team quote and we will send one.

  • Player names and numbers on every jersey
  • Team name or logo on the chest, sleeve numbers, sponsor marks
  • Help with artwork, including redrawing an old or blurry logo
  • A proof by email in 1 to 2 business days, with unlimited revisions
  • One sewn sample at the single-piece price for orders of 24 or more, credited to the order
  • Free US ground shipping, and free split delivery to several US addresses
  • Phone and WhatsApp help at (213) 449-3746, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Pacific

Fabric, fit and sizing by age group

All game jerseys use 160 gsm polyester interlock with the color sublimated into the fiber. Mesh and lighter 140 gsm options suit hot-weather programs. Pants in the sets are 220 gsm double-knit with a second layer at the knee.

Youth jerseys run YS to YXL on a kids' pattern, so the body is not too long on an eight-year-old. Players at 13 and 14 often move into adult S.

Adult jerseys run S to 3XL. The men's adult athletic cut jerseys and the adult league page go up to 4XL, with a longer tail for tucking.

For a mixed roster, measure a few players at each end of the size range. Order up one size for anyone likely to grow before the season ends.

Budget examples for 12 and 24 players

The discount is set by the total pieces in the cart. Jerseys, pants, socks and fan shirts all count together.

Leagues and clubs ordering for several rosters can use volume team jerseys for leagues, where pricing reaches 20% off at 100 pieces. The examples below use the published tier prices.

  • A 12-player Little League team in sets and socks comes to about $59.38 per player
  • A 24-player travel roster in sets and socks comes to about $56.08 per player
  • A second jersey per player is the fastest way to reach the next tier

California seasons and climate

California teams play almost all year, but the weather changes a lot between regions and months.

Spring Little League in the Bay Area and along the coast starts cool and damp. Long-sleeve undershirts under the game jersey are common through April.

Summer travel ball in the Central Valley is the opposite. Teams playing out of Fresno and nearby Valley towns often choose mesh jerseys or sleeveless vests for July and August tournaments.

High school seasons run February to May, so early games can be cold. Adult leagues often play into the evening, when temperatures drop fast once the sun goes down.

Plan production around your first game, not your first practice. Allow about five weeks from first contact to delivery.

Common mistakes on team and league orders

Most problems on team orders come from the roster, not the design. Check these before you approve the proof.

League boards should also confirm number size and sleeve color rules. Our Little League uniform rules guide lists the points that come up most.

  • Collecting sizes by text message instead of one shared spreadsheet
  • Giving two players the same number on one team
  • Ordering adult sizes from a youth chart, or the reverse
  • Forgetting spare jerseys for late sign-ups and mid-season pickups
  • Placing a varsity order in March for a February opener
  • Splitting one league into several small orders and losing the volume tier

Teams & Leagues: questions answered

What is the minimum order for a team?

Ten pieces per order, in any mix of sizes and products. Most teams pass that with the jerseys alone.

Can one order cover several teams in a league?

Yes. We build one design in a different color for each team and send a league proof sheet so the board approves everything at once.

Can we mix youth and adult sizes?

Yes. Youth YS to YXL and adult sizes go in the same order at the same price.

Do men's jerseys come in 4XL?

Yes. The men's and adult league pages offer S to 4XL, and extended sizes are the same price.

Is the women's jersey a different cut?

Yes. It has a narrower shoulder, a shaped side seam and a body about 2 inches shorter than the men's cut at the same chest.

Can a school pay through a purchase order?

We send a written quote the athletic office can attach to a purchase order. Payment is by the PayPal invoice we email after the proof is approved.

How tall are Little League back numbers?

We make them 6 inches or taller in a color that contrasts with the jersey.

Can sponsors go on the jerseys?

Yes. Sponsor names and logos are included in the price, usually above the back number or on a sleeve.

Can you ship to each coach separately?

Yes. Split delivery to several US addresses is free, and boxes can be sorted by team.

How far ahead should a league order?

Allow about five weeks before your first game. That covers the proof, 2 to 3 weeks of production and shipping.

Do fan shirts count toward the team discount?

Yes. Booster and parent shirts in the same cart count toward the same tier as the players' jerseys.

Can we reorder for new players mid-season?

Yes. Your artwork stays on file, so new players get the same design without a new proof round.
